One up from their standard 10-year-old bottling, the 12 Year Old has two more years in the cask and is a step closer to the sherry-heavy older expressions. The 12 Year Old delivers beautifully balanced flavours of dried fruits, toffee, and gentle spice, complemented by a smooth, lingering finish with notes of raisins, soft vanilla, and subtle oak.
Glenfarclas 12 was originally bottled for export and travel retail markets. In 2006, it was named the "Best Sherried Whisky" in the Single Malt World Cup, and in 2007 and 2008 it won Gold at the Stockholm Beer and Whisky Festival.
