PEMO tells the story of Abruzzo – two distinctive native wines whose characteristics are symbolised by the original drawings on the label. PE – Pecorino and MO – Montepulciano, both varieties have been grown in Abruzzo since 200 AD.
Smooth and balanced, with hints of cherry, bramble and violets on the nose that follow onto the palate supported by supple tannins and a velvety structure. Fresh ripe red fruits continue throughout but are met with a slightly savoury note on the finish. This is a wine for those with a truly fantastic palate.
