First discovered by St. Thomas Aquinas in 1265 by divine intervention, Dandelion and Burdock is a proven flavour combination that has stood the test of time.
Pocket Full of Stones has taken fresh north country dandelion blooms and wild-foraged Burdock and carefully distilled them with their favourite combination of botanicals to create a smooth, contemporary gin built on the backbone of British tradition.
The Darling of the North, Dandelion and Burdock is a favourite flavour combination. We’ve taken the earthy flavours of the roots of these botanicals and distilled them with locally foraged heather, honeybush to add a floral lift and cola nut and almond to bind the flavours with orris root to add length.
A classic dry gin when served with tonic water, but if you’re after that old school northern fish and chip shop Dandelion and Burdock serve with ginger ale / or D&B soda. Our favourite cocktail with this gin is the bramble. The sweetness from the blackberry liqueur perfectly balances the earthy notes of the D&B roots and cola nut.
