This Port resulted from lots of wines stored in Quinta da Devesa, elaborated with the noble grapes used in the demarcated region of the Douro and aged in wooden containers, in the warehouses of the farm.
Clean, intense auburn color. Intense nose with good complexity, in a mixture of honey, molasses, notes of walnut and other nuts. Soft and harmonious in the mouth, with a very long and pleasant end of mouth.
Serve slightly chilled with créme-brulê, macadamia and vanilla ice-creams, apple pie. Also very exquisite with foie-gras.
