Rimauresq Cru Classé Rosé, Côtes de Provence (6 Bottle Case)
This product is currently sold out.
This forward-thinking winery in the heart of the Provence wine region is one of the select group of Côtes de Provence vineyards awarded Cru Classé status in 1955, a classification mirroring that of the great Bordeaux châteaux and based on the quality of the wines and heritage of the properties.
Rimauresq Cru Classe Rose, Cotes de Provence 2017 is ultra pale in colour, clean and fresh on the nose and the palate. This is pure finesse - a really fine and very classy wine, worthy of it's Cru Classe status. Not one dimensional, nor is there one fruit character coming through, instead it has lifted characters of red currents and wild red berries. The palate is fine yet flavoursome with savoury, mineral hints but at the same time it is pretty and fruity and the finish is exquisite! This is a lovely expression of the grapes and the land. To get even more out of this wine, we recommend decanting before serving. Fantastic as an aperitif or try with pasta, salads, grilled fish, chicken with morilles or garlicky Provencale inspired dishes.
