A blend of Tinta Amarela, Touriga Franca, Sousão, Tinta Francisca, Touriga Nacional. From Quinta da Vista Alegre, Cima Corgo, vineyards aged over 80 years, planted on old platforms, predominant exposure to the south. Ruby colour with very good intensity. Very elegant, rigorous with a fantastic complexity. Black mature fruits, very spicy with hints of toasted and soaked oak cask. Wide and persistent tannins with a sweet, fruity sensation and hints of black chocolate.
After a careful and classic vinification, the wine spent 22 months in new French oak casks. It is unfiltered and was not cold stabilised in order to preserve all its natural qualities. It will therefore with time throw a natural sediment in the bottle. We recommend decantation of this weighty 1.5kg bottle. Enjoy with red meat, particularly game and strong cheeses.
