The family-owned winery of Villa Raiano was established in 1996, in the village of Raiano, Campania. In 2009 a new winery was built - on top of a hill amongst vineyards and chestnut woods, overlooking the River Sabato near San Michele di Serino in the Southern Apennines.
Villa Raiano Falanghina wine is a fine example of this 'trending' Italian white grape from its homeland - the Beneventano region. Ripe citrus and stone fruit aromas with lightly herbal notes. Taut and mineral palate with rounded, gently honeyed fruit and a crisp, spicy finish. This wine is great with a variety of pasta dishes, including baked, vegetarian, or perhaps Ravioli!
