Domaine des Tourelles Red is a warm, rich red with a hint of Arabian spice fresh from Lebanon! It's well worth trying this wine if you haven't had the pleasure of a wine from Lebanon before. Domaine de Tourelles is amongst the longest-established and most highly acclaimed wineries in the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon. Founded in 1868 by French adventurer Francois-Eugene Brun Domaine de Tourelles was the first commercial cellar in Lebanon producing wines, arak and other spirits. Abundant cassis and ripe morello cherry fruit are a feature of the Domaine des Tourelles Red, which is complex and multi-layered with firm yet appealing tannins and some spice on the finish. This wine is perfect with rich, lamb casseroles or a spicy chickpea harissa stew.
